Motivation 101: Try 10

10-Minutes.jpg

Having trouble getting motivated to work out? Make a deal with yourself that you can stop after 10 minutes if you don’t have the time or energy to continue. Remember: something is always better than nothing. By that time your endorphins have kicked in, and you’ll most likely end up doing more than 10 minutes anyway. At the very least, you’ll have gotten the blood pumping and aided your digestion the rest of the day!

After you finish, relish the feeling of accomplishment you have, and let it help motivate you for the next workout. Never underestimate the power of a little applause.
