Nerds

We are a proud team of fitness nerds! We LOVE working with clients who have neuro conditions (Parkinson’s, dementia, stroke, brain injury), autoimmune issues, old/new injuries, and other complex situations that allow us to use every morsel of our combined expertise and creativity.

Most of us need ongoing training after physical therapy ends: that’s where we come in. We’ll coordinate with your therapists for an easy transition, keep you consistent with your home exercise, and help you continue to improve.

Unlike most fitness companies, you don’t just have one trainer behind you, you have our entire team! You may work with one or two trainers regularly, but the whole team is available to you, and collaborating on the most effective ways to help you feel your best.

When we work as a team, we do our best work - collaborating allows us to pick each other’s brains, hold each other accountable, and keep things fun and fresh for you.

We’re not going to give you advice you cannot follow, prescribe crash diets you’ll hate, or lead you through extreme workouts that feel like torture. When your workouts give you joy, and your fitness plan compliments your life, you are WAY more likely to succeed.

We will teach you how your body actually works, how exercise can be your toolkit for feeling your best, how to stay motivated, and how avoid injury. No gimmicks, just facts.

virtual training

Our personal training sessions are offered virtually, which means you can work out with us from just about anywhere! All you need is a computer or mobile device with internet access, and a free account on the ZOOM app. (Not computer-savvy? Don’t worry! We’ll walk you through the simple steps.)

Learn how to use the resources available to you - like your own body weight, common household items, or home exercise equipment - to get a GREAT workout, without the gym. Feeling your best has never been more convenient!

 

outdoor training

During COVID-19, we offer outdoor one-on-one training on a limited basis to those in the Long Beach, CA area, and follow strict social distancing practices. Outdoor in-person sessions are reserved for those clients with special circumstances that make virtual training not possible.
